Anik Mahila Samaj Kalyan Samiti, founded by Mrs. Krishna Devi, embodies a profound commitment to social welfare. She was born in Laldhang, a village nestled amidst the mountains near Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

In a rural setting with limited access to essentials like water, electricity, and transportation, Mrs. Krishna Devi's journey of resilience and empowerment began. Despite facing numerous obstacles, including limited resources and infrastructure, she remained determined in her pursuit of education.

She navigated through challenges and traveled from Laldhang to Najeebabad and eventually to Kandav Ghati, where she completed her schooling. Later, she achieved academic success at Kishanpuri Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal.

After getting married, she moved to Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, where she effortlessly managed her family responsibilities while staying committed to education and community service. She used her academic skills to pursue several degrees, from Sociology to English, while balancing her household duties. Her educational journey was multifaceted, and her dedication to her family and community was unwavering.

In 2007, Mrs. Krishna Devi and Muhammad Shamsuddin established Anik Mahila Samaj Kalyan, inspired by the social work ethos of the district crime prevention committee. Since then, the organization has been a source of hope, providing support to marginalized and incarcerated individuals.

Mrs. Krishna Devi demonstrates leadership that goes beyond organizational boundaries. This is evident through her pivotal role in the Legal Services Authority and the Police Family Counseling Center. Her legal expertise, combined with a compassionate nature, drives her efforts to champion the cause of justice. She provides legal aid to the underprivileged and advocates for the incarcerated.

Mrs. Krishna Devi serves as a resource person, organizing free awareness camps to spread legal knowledge and empower communities nationwide. Her tireless efforts have made Anik Mahila Samaj Kalyan Samiti a catalyst for positive change, embodying the spirit of service and solidarity.
